A deeper clean for fabric and carpet
Vacuuming removes loose dirt, but spills, stains and ground-in grime sit deeper in the fibers. Carpet extraction works a cleaning solution into carpet, floor mats and fabric upholstery, then extracts it along with the dirt it has lifted.
It is an add-on to an Interior Detail or Signature Full Detail, used where the fabric needs it. Extracted areas are left as dry as possible, and Summit will let you know how long they need to finish drying.

Check the fabric
Carpets, mats and upholstery are checked for stains and heavy soil.

Vacuum first
Loose dirt is vacuumed out before any wet cleaning starts.

Pre-treat
Stains and heavily soiled areas are pre-treated.

Agitate
The cleaning solution is worked into the fibers to loosen grime.

Extract
The solution and lifted dirt are extracted from the fabric.

Dry and inspect
Extracted areas are left as dry as possible and checked before the appointment ends.

Carpet extraction questions
Can I book carpet extraction on its own?
It is offered as an add-on to an Interior Detail or Signature Full Detail, so the rest of the cabin is cleaned at the same time.
Will every stain come out?
Many stains lift well with extraction, but some, especially older or set-in stains, may only lighten. You will know what to expect before work begins.
How long does the carpet take to dry?
Drying depends on the fabric and the weather. Extracted areas are left as dry as possible, and you will get guidance on drying before the appointment ends.
What about lingering smells?
For lingering, difficult odors, add Odor Treatment to the same visit.
How is the price set?
